Quitting thing's can be a rush

In having Bipolar one of the things I deal with often is quitting jobs. Ever since I was diagnosed in 1998 I have had one job after another. The reason why I am writing about this issue is because when you have Bipolar you tend to have less of a desire about things after you get yourself in a situation. I don’t know If it’s a high to make a decision all at once to just quit something so after you can get that high feeling of you showed them. Is it a thing that you felt for awhile you weren’t in control by going to work everyday and the hum drum of a routine.
So then you make a decision to just quit or walk away from the situation. It’s that way with relationships in my life also... I would get involved with a girl and move in with her and all of a sudden say well I don’t want to do this anymore... So I pack up all my stuff and leave (like nothing happened).
Over time that can really be a strain on the ole self... The Bipolar get’s you so wore out at times. Just a week ago I had a great full time job with basically doing nothing but watching television all night in someone’s house I was over seeing. well,I got tired of it and never went back to work. Called them up and said I just don’t want to do this anymore.
If anyone else deals with this... Would you please let me know and others know about your story... We would all like to hear your stories. The more you comment the more support we gain from each other. So many times we with Bipolar feel so alone and isolated in this world.
It’s very hard some days to get out of bed at all, you just want to have one day where your mind isn’t going 90 mph...
WE WANT TO HEAR WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS ILLNESS!!!!!

LET OTHERS KNOW WHERE THEY CAN COME FOR SUPPORT!!!!

MANY GREAT BOOKS ON BIPOLAR

You will notice on the left of the page there are many great books on Bipolar... I challenge you ... To discover for yourself how you can become and ADVACATE for someone who struggles on a daily basis with this mental illness. Even though you might not know very much about this and what exactly causes these types of behaviors. It's a great feeling you get knowing you were there for them, when it seemed as though they were in a lonely place in life.

If you educate yourself on the basics of Bipolar you will find that 98% of people who struggle with Bipolar often do feel very lonely in a sold out concert or stage show. If you would take the time to preview some of the books listed on the lefthand side of the page. Tell me that not one of them caught your eye or grabbed your attention! If you liked one of the books then please let me know by sending me a quick email or leave me a comment on the site!

If you are pleased with any information on the site please let me know how I could better meet your needs!

A GREAT BOOK FOR PEOPLE WITH BIPOLAR

For people with bi-polar disease, this book seems to be a lot of things - maddening, frustrating, spot-on, a travesty, a manifesto. For those of us who love people who are bi-polar, This book is a must read - a rare ( dynamically thought provoking) chance to understand the hypomania, mania, and depression our friends and family members go through. I can never fully understand the condition, but I'm much better equipped to empathize, thanks to Jamison's book and mindset is considered: funny, smart, and honest-to-the-bone prose.
Jamison, it seems, never set out to write an argument for any particular treatment of bi-polarism. She is not a case study - she's a specific, individual person, and she views herself with extreme perception and self-criticism. She doesn't back away from the horror of mania, but she isn't afraid to express the beauty and seductive nature of hypomania (seductive to both the victim and the people who surround her, it seems), which is so valuable to readers who do not suffer from bi-polarism.
"An Unquiet Mind" is a rare find - a book that explains the unexplainable, that allows the reader to empathize and understand. Because Jamison doesn't try to analyze a "typical" bi-polar patient, only herself, many victims of bi-polar disease will see some significant differences with their experiences (just read some of the reader reviews). For those of us love people with bi-polarism, the book gives us the tools to empathize, and love them all the more.

What is Bipolar Disorder

What is bipolar disorder...
Bipolarworldz.blogspot.com is dedicated to providing a people who have questions about what bipolar disorder is. It’s also more widely known as another term called or associated with (manic-depression).
I would like to take you inside a world that can often seem as If days and nights never end. You or someone you know may feel as If you are in an never-ending cycle. We as people with Bipolar like to call it as... Living In Cycles. Cycles are best described as fast and furious mood swings or behaviors. Often times these behaviors are of extreme in nature. I will touch on this a little bit later as I get more in-depth upon my world of Bipolar.
Why we are different: A short and simple explanation would be most people have normal everyday mood swings. But us with Bipolar have more of a long-term raging mood behavior and often times It can be detrimental to them or people around them.
I realize there are plenty of good sources of text based information on the web. There’s thousands of pages on mental health and very good articulated web pages dealing with this subject matter also. So much information is out there that it becomes a daunting and tiring task when sometimes you just want to find the answer quick and easy without all the fluff.. I will edit the world of bipolar disorder (formerly called manic depression) for you and then I will post what I feel is the most relevant information on my site Bipolarworldz.blogspot.comfor your review.
What is Bipolar Disorder?
The distinguishing characteristic of Bipolar Disorder, as compared to other mood disorders, is the presence of at least one manic episode. Additionally, it is presumed to be a chronic condition because the vast majority of individuals who have one manic episode have additional episodes in the future. The statistics suggest that four episodes in ten years is an average, without preventative treatment. Every individual with bipolar disorder has a unique pattern of mood cycles, combining depression and manic episodes, that is specific to that individual, but predictable once the pattern is identified. Research studies suggest a strong genetic influence in bipolar disorder.

My experience with Bipolar disorder

I was diagnosed in 1998 with what was known as Bipolar disorder. At the time that word scared me completely! I had no idea what that was or what it meant to have the disease that I called it back then. I hope that your time spent here, will help you evaluate what it means to have Bipolar or maybe you know someone that's been told by a Professional that they have the signs of Bipolar disorder. You will notice on the side there are several links in which will help you in finding out all the different aspecs on Bipolar and what it is... I hope this site will be very informative for you and that you will return to the site for updated and helpful information about Bipolar disorder. So sit back and enjoy reading and finding out what other people have to say about Bipolar disorder...
